A few weeks ago, we shared our latest work in progress: “The New Mill House” installation at The Fairmount WaterWorks Interpretive Center, here in Philadelphia. By far, it the most unprecedented musical project we’ve dug into. What started as a brainstormer, a “what-if” actually became a thing; a 14 minute piece of music composed exclusively of water and all of its life enabling/threatening sonic glory. It was tons of fun, and we’d like to thank Karen Young, of Fairmount Water Works for giving us the green light and the beautiful space to work within. Also huge thanks to Victoria Prizzia of Habitheque, INC., for helping us maintain our vision, Traci Polimeni of LUCE Group for her amazing lighting accompaniment, and Terreyl and Neil of ReFresh Tech for all of the in-the-trenches tech install and equipment. These guys are not your average soundmen. It truly was a blast to work on!
